Further, the Aqueos HSEQ Management System is continually recognized as “best in class” by many of our blue-chip clients.
History
In June of 2000, Aqueos Corporation (then Divecon Services) began operation through the acquisition of the former West Coast offices of Stolt Comex Seaway Inc. and Oceaneering International, Inc. This combination has proven to cultivate a highly experienced offshore installation contractor and marine construction company with an extensive track record and history. Aqueos gained assets from both firms including vessels, remotely operated vehicles (ROV), diving and marine construction equipment, and continues to employ highly experienced management and field staffs of both former West Coast companies.
In 2005, Aqueos expanded operations into the Gulf of Mexico as a result of severe offshore oil and gas infrastructure damage caused by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Since this time, Aqueos has gained a considerable amount of additional GOM clientele as well as a stellar reputation. Our innovative solutions and rapid response capabilities have made us the first choice for our client’s underwater needs.
Our Founder, A Pioneer in the Commercial Diving Industry
Theodore (Ted) Roche, IV, the founder and CEO of Aqueos from June 2000 until 2024, has not only been a success story for the company but an advocate to all the men and women at the “end of the hose” for decades. Ted has over 49 years of experience in the marine construction and commercial diving industry. He started Aqueos more than 24 years ago with the dream of building a company that operated with the integrity of the men and women who execute the work as a priority. The foundation of the company remains true today. Ted always believed that doing the right thing would pay dividends in that the people will always want to work for you, and the customers who “walk the talk” will want you to work for them.
Effective July 1, 2024, Mr. Roche will be stepping down from
his role as CEO to take on the position of Senior Advisor and sit on the Board
of Directors at Aqueos. This planned change aligns strategically following
Michels Family of Companies acquisition. In his new role as Senior Advisor, he
will focus on supporting the Aqueos Executive Management Team, providing
mentorship, and utilizing his network to explore strategic opportunities for
the company.
Executive Team
The Aqueos team is committed to meeting the specific offshore construction and diving needs of each of our customers with excellence- every time. In short, we set the standard for premier subsea services.
