With 30+ years of human resources and recruiting experience in the offshore oil & gas industry, Ms. Clausen brings a wealth of expertise to her role as the Human Resources Business Partner at Aqueos. She joined Aqueos in 2012, following a distinguished career marked by significant contributions to logistics, personnel management, and human resources.

Prior to her tenure at Aqueos, Ms. Clausen served as the Logistics Manager for Kaplan Industry Venezuela, C.A./GOME in Ojeda, Venezuela. Within just three months, GOME requested her to handle paperwork processing and provide translation services to clients. Her role extended to training Venezuelan personnel in logistics systems, visa and paperwork processing, and international consulate interaction, showcasing her ability to adapt and lead in diverse environments.

Before joining the Kaplan Industry, Ms. Clausen was the Diving Personnel Coordinator at Chet Morrison Contractors. In this role, she secured the B1/OCS exemption within three months, enabling the company to hire foreign employees on dive boats and save thousands of dollars. She introduced structured tools to the Diving and Project Management Group and trained colleagues to create and upkeep logistics boards and personnel files.

She also held the position of Human Resources Personnel Logistics Leader at Stolt Offshore, where she earned a reputation as the visa go-to expert for company offices worldwide and for external oilfield companies. She was selected to support personnel, transportation, and logistics activities for multi-million-dollar projects, further highlighting her exceptional skills in managing complex operations.

Her extensive experience includes roles as Human Resources Logistics Coordinator, Administrative Assistant to Operations, Personnel Assistant, and Human Resources Administrator. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Ms. Clausen holds a degree in accounting and has attended numerous courses in professional development, office software programs, and technical skills.
